April Belt is the Founder and Pastor at New Friends Homeless Center, a non-profit organisation that provides a 3-4 course dinner to homeless individuals. April is working towards changing the misconceptions about the homeless population. Many believe homeless people are drug addicts or alcoholics, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The reality is that homelessness affects a wide variety of individuals, including veterans, senior citizens, people with disabilities, and hard working folks that are simply down on their luck.
