A rescue dog can transform the lives of both children and veterans.
Bennie Jean Muliere and special guest Melanie share their story of why Service Dogs of New Mexico is so important to their community. There are so many veterans and special needs children who need service dogs, but can not afford it, and yet, there are so many unwanted dogs sitting in the pound. Why not combine both? Bennie explains her matching process and why she felt compelled to do something about it.
